Refund Policy


Refunds
 
Refund requests may be made by phone Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm at 262-664-7800 or by email at parksandrec@mtpleasantwi.gov.
  • Refund requests received more than 1-week prior to the start of the program will receive a full refund, less a 10% processing fee with a cap of $10.
  • Requests received less than 1-week prior to the start of the program or when the program has started, will only be refunded a pro-rated portion of the fee for medical, relocation, or military reasons, less 10% processing fee with a cap of $10.
  • Refunds will not be issued for missed classes.
  • Program supplies or t-shirts are nonrefundable and will be deducted from the refund total.
  • Any variances to the stated policies will be identified in the program description.
 
Program Cancellations
 
Full refunds are made for any class/activity canceled by the Mount Pleasant Parks & Recreation Department. A refund check will automatically be generated and mailed to all participants enrolled in a class that is canceled by the Recreation Department. Refund checks will be mailed within 2-4 weeks of the class cancellation. Payments made by credit/debit card for canceled classes will be credited back to the credit/debit card within 2-4 weeks.
Please note: Refunds for class cancellations due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances will be handled on a case by case basis and may include class credits, coupons, class extensions, etc.
 
Medical Refunds
 
Medical refunds require a doctor’s note explaining the injury or illness and must be submitted within 10 business days of the missed class. Qualified medical refunds will receive a full refund. Requests for day trip refunds for medical reasons will not be approved unless your spot can be filled with another participant from the waitlist.
